My nephew Anthony was hit by a car last night and died early this morning.
The following picture shows Anthony, my sister in law Anita, and me in front of my house in Sedona. Anthony was about 17 years old in this picture.

Anthony loved talking about politics, his family, and music.

Please forgive me, but when something like this happens – I am always on the edge; waiting for the “that didn’t actually happen” statement. As time goes by and that statement doesn’t manifest, then incrementally, it sinks in that that actually happened. I will stand waiting for that statement…
Nothing to forgive cousin. You probably just remember Anthony from your visit to San Diego when he was a little kid. It is difficult when it sink in that a relative or friend has died.
I do remember him. I liked him.
